These two images show the very begining of my new artwork. Measuring around 30x30cm you can already see how adding some variation in tone begins to set the mood and depth.

I am planning to keep a visual record of the process in making this artwork so it can be seen by all hopefully to assist in their own artmaking or in understanding the processes I use to create an artwork.

The initial yellow and white was put down qucikly quite inuitively. As regular watchers of my art would know the city series is an ongoing one for me so the ideas and designs are not random but neither are they taken from life or an actual scene.

I enjoy the interpaly between the shapes and tones, using the almost abstractly to suggest a city. Return frequently, as images will be updated over the nest few days adn weeks.
