Artfulteacher Artworks in Art Exhibition
May 13, 2009

Two small acrylics centred on the theme of city will be exhibited at the Art Moment Gallery in Bondi opening 26th May. It is a group show dealing with artistic inspiration.
The Artist statement accompanying the show sounds a little heavy but in fact is concerned with current issues of sustainability. Have a read…
The paintings reflect my current interest in aspects of the urban/ecological dichotomy. Tones and space and questions of sustainability work visually to make a subtle connection between the geometric industrial city and the calm regenerative, greening of concrete and glass.
As sepia tones remind us of what once was, the tones of green in the cityscapes show a future. A city maybe but one where nature takes from us what we have built, a city lost.
Art Moment Gallery, Shop 1, 99 Curlewis St. Bondi Beach NSW 2062 Open Tues- Friday and Sundays.
